ISS bush test systems feature high-stiffness, precision-aligned, floor standing frame with external powerpack or single footprint optional (up to 11LPM). The basic system consists of a vertical loading, single axis load frame and servo-hydraulic actuator with high frequency voice coil technology servo valve, force and displacement transducers, and wide range of grips, furnace, environment chamber with control unit, safety interlocks and servo controller. To ensure superior quality of elastomer testing, test systems are equipped with linear digital encoders that deliver noise free synchronized 0.1 μm resolution readouts of displacement and24-bit resolution force readouts from piezo-electric load cells at data acquisition rates as high as 32 kHz to ensure sufficient incremental readouts of both force and displacement even at displacement ranges as low as 10μm. Unique dual mode real-time control at 2370 digital controller processor level permits simultaneous control of assigned mean force and displacement amplitude, that are essential to enforce test conditions often prescribed by demanding customers. These single axis systems are designed to suit testing of metals, elastomers, engine mounts, plastics and automotive components to study its dynamic characterization.
Multi-axis systems, up to 4 axes, are available to meet large automotive and railway shock absorber component testing requirements like subframe bushings, suspension bushings and engine mounts for their durability and performance studies. Multi-axis systems can perform simultaneous axial, radial, conical and torsional loading on silent bush.
