Tilting DFT System

This single station DFT system is typically used in a production plant where the shock absorbers used in trains are tested at various titling angles depending on the application. The maximum test velocity can be up to 1 m/s and dynamic force capacity up to 35 kN.

Features

  • Precise and stable control of tilt angle
  • Self-aligning manually operated mechanical grips and fixtures to hold the test parts
  • Fully automated testing so that a least skilled operator can carry the production tests
  • Safety interlocks for the protection of operator, test sample and equipment
  • Typically integrated with servo hydraulic drives
  • Automatic barcode printing on the tested part
  • Two column load frame with bottom mount actuator with 150 to 250 mm stroke
  • Cross-head with hydraulic lifts and clamps
  • Hydraulic tilting of load frame to user defined angle
  • Evaluation of seal friction, gas charge, static and dynamic response
  • Clevis grips for interchange of parts
  • Side load up to 200 kg
